Sensory installation with touch at the core of the art
This art installation by Austrian Georg Kroneis, centres around the connection between you and another human being. You step into a darkened room. Inside you can almost see or hear nothing; touch is the sense to rely on. Through tactile means, you’ll get to know performer Georg and your own self. How does a handshake feel when you have nothing else to go off? What about a hug? How do you open yourself up to new contact, and what are you comfortable with? Recognising each other’s boundaries and giving permission are at the core of this personal and vulnerable experience, which invites you to emerge in touch as an art form.
