The performance takes you to the zoo, the place par excellence where the human project is implemented. The zoo is a place to watch. Where animals have to perform their otherness so that humankind can confirm himself. But in this zoo the boundaries have become blurred between who is human and who is animal. In this zoo it is unclear who should perform for whom.

Geert Belpaeme is a theatre maker, performer and teacher/researcher at KASK School of Arts Ghent. Playfulness and abstraction out of untamed imagination are the dominating characteristics within all his projects. His artistic language is sometimes reminiscent of a minimalistic form of clowning and plays with the glaze and expectation of the audience.
