Soula Notos ism Theater Kikker
Soula's Storytelling Nights: Hope
Funny, sad, scary, sweet, unbelievable, comforting stories: that's what Soula's Storytelling Nights are all about. Make yourself at home and listen to stories from all over the word!
So on Tuesday December 17th come and listen to experienced storytellers and talented newcomers tell their tales. And if inspiration strikes, audience-members are invited to put their name in a hat. At the end of the night two names will be picked at random and these two lucky birds will get to share their story. True stories about crazy families, horrible dates, myths, folk tales, newly written stories: anything goes as long as the stories are told and not read from paper.
After four beautiful and personal storytelling evenings in season 23-24, Soula and Theater Kikker will also present four editions in the new theater season. Soula welcomes you to attend her storytelling evening on December 17th.
Soula's Storytelling Nights are in English.

Sarah Abdel-Aal
"Ever since I was little, I've been writing and telling stories. The people I liked the most were also the ones who could talk beautifully about their lives. The older I get, the more I understand that we only really understand each other when we listen carefully to each other. Storytelling has always been an important part of coming together as human beings. Through our stories, we can make genuine contact and foster understanding for each other. My stories are about my experiences and about the problems that I, and all of us, experience in our daily lives. I hope this creates space for an open conversation about experiences, emotions, and how things can be done differently. And that it may inspire the listener."
Joy Gibelin
Joy Gibelin is a Colombian storyteller based in Utrecht. While navigating her journey of self-discovery and healing, she discovered a passion in storytelling as a way to transform pain into connection.
In her story, “Reclaiming” Joy explores the themes of resilience, family dynamics, and hope. Through her performance, she aims to inspire courage and strength to reclaim one’s freedom.
