Drowning Out is a symphony of cacophony and silence, an ode to the drowning cries of a world on fire. Embodying the paradoxes of modern existence: creation and destruction, unity and isolation, truth and its eternal absence, the performance stitches fragments of collapsing ice, fleeting breaths, and echoes of voices silenced by oppression into a tapestry of collective grief and resistance.

Theatre group Water is Dying emerged from the course Art, Injustice, and resistance as part of the Navigating Insecure Futures porgramme by Universiteit Utrecht
